Notice of delay for 2021 tax bills

1783 belated notifications/letters of intent from fi fa are being mailed today and in the days to come. The letter notifies that the invoice which was due on December 1, 2021 is still unpaid. This letter is required by law and informs the taxpayer that they have 30 days to pay their bill before a tax lien is placed on the property.

I usually give taxpayers a few extra months in case they wait for their tax returns, but I wanted to send the reminders in time so taxpayers would avoid the biggest late penalty, which is applied at the end of March.
