The “Gucci Gang” rapper didn’t pay his share of the IRS when he shot to international fame in 2018.
Lil Pump is making progress towards his huge tax debt with the Internal Revenue Service. According to court documents, the rapper made a payment of almost $90,000 and the IRS reversed the tax lien they imposed on him last year.
The 21-year-old rapper, real name Gazzy Garcia, paid $89,378.68 for taxes he owed on his 2019 income, according to Radar. Last year, reports claimed that Pump failed to pay his tax bill and was indebted to the IRS to the tune of $1.6 million, prompting the IRS to hit the rapper with a tax lien on his $5 million Miami home.
Pump, angered by the reports, demanded Instagram deny the privilege and told his 15 million Instagram followers not to believe everything they read on the internet.

The IRS isn’t alone in suing Pump for unpaid debts. In August, American Express sued the rapper and his companyLil Pump Touring, for breach of contract, claiming the rapper stiffed them on a $26,233.24 bill.
Pump may have been trying to settle his debts with the bank because they ultimately decided to dismiss their lawsuit against him, but the bank has the option of filing the lawsuit again at a later date.
